Join the Des Moines Historical Society for a special evening exploring the history and architecture of Capitol Hill Lutheran Church, featuring a guided tour, historic archives, stories from lifelong member Dave Carlson, and a live pipe organ demonstration.

Come early and volunteer! Members can volunteer with Urban Bicycle Food Ministry before the tour and receive complimentary admission. UBFM’s mission is to “serve radical hospitality, one burrito at a time” to people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in Des Moines.
